The above health protocol dated 31/03/2021, "Guidelines for safely conducting preparatory tasks for audiovisual productions", is now in force in conjunction with ΦΕΚ 1581/Β/18–4-2021 published in Joint Ministerial Decision no. 24520:
“The enforcing of measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus which place temporary limits on the Country’s land, air and sea links, which forbid citizens of third countries other than EU Member States and states party to the Schengen Agreement to enter the Country, and which require the laboratory testing and temporary restriction of persons entering from abroad, as well as special arrangements in the case of vaccination or negative tests in specific countries".
 
Specifically, foreign partners who come to and stay in Greece and are permanent residents of other countries listed in the above JMD, are informed of the following:
 
“1. Exceptionally, entry into the State of permanent residents of European Union member states, states party to the Schengen Agreement, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the United Arab Emirates, Serbia and Israel is permitted: a) if they have tested negative for the COVID-19 coronavirus using the PCR method performed using an oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal swab aa) within seventy-two (72) hours of their arrival in Greece, ab) by a reference laboratory in their country of origin or transit, or a public or private laboratories in either, given that the private laboratory used is certified by the competent national certifying authority, and ac) have written confirmation of that diagnosis with them in English, which includes their name and the number of their passport or identity card, and which they can show to the personnel of the General Secretariat for Civil Protection and the National Public Health Agency who are responsible for conducting medical examinations, or b) in the case of their vaccination against the COVID-19 coronavirus being complete, and their presenting a vaccination certificate in English issued by a public authority and in accordance with the relevant legislation, given that fourteen (14) days have elapsed since its completion. The vaccination certificate must state the person's name, the type of vaccine administered along with the number of doses, and be presented to the personnel of the General Secretariat for Civil Protection and the National Public Health Agency (PHEA) who are responsible for carrying out medical checks. The authenticity of the vaccination certificate may be checked by the competent bodies, with the help of the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance. 
 
2. Persons falling within the scope of this document are subject to random laboratory medical checks on the basis of a public health algorithm in accordance with Article 5 (2),
are exempt from the compulsory preventive restrictions described in Article 5 (5), and must otherwise observe throughout their stay in the Country the emergency measures put in place to restrict the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus in accordance with the joint ministerial decision under file reference Δ1α/ΓΠ.οικ.24489/16.4.2021 (Β’ 1558) as this applies in the particular case”.
